MESSI INSPIRES TO COPA DEL REY WIN
Barcelona completed a domestic double in their own stadium on
Saturday night as they beat Athletic Bilbao by a 3-1 scoreline in the Copa del Rey final.
Lionel Messi scored a magnificent solo goal to put Barcelona in
control amid a dominant first half, with Neymar adding a second soon
after. Messi bagged another to make sure of the game before Inaki
Williams' consolation for Athletic, after he had also struck the
woodwork in the first half.
The victory marked Barca’s 27th Cup success and thei sixth League and Cup double.
